Step-by-Step Installation
## Clone with Git
git clone https://github.com/yourusername/spurs-blog-mcp-server.git
cd spurs-blog-mcp-server
## Or download the ZIP and extract it
## Install all required packages
pip install -r requirements.txt
## Start the MCP server
python pounding_the_rock.py
π‘ The server is running successfully when there is no error output. Keep this terminal window open while using the server with Claude.

Setting up Claude Desktop
- Download from claude.ai/download
- Follow the installation instructions for your operating system
Mac users:
- Click on the Claude menu at the top of your screen
- Select "Settings..."
- Click on "Developer" in the left sidebar
- Click "Edit Config"
Windows users:
- Open File Explorer
- Navigate to
%APPDATA%\Claude\
- Create or edit the file
claude_desktop_config.json
Copy and paste the following JSON into the configuration file:

- Save the configuration file
